First Visit

 If utilizing insurance benefits, it is the client's responsibility to contact insurance to determine their financial responsibility in regards to mental health coverage, deductibles, copays and co-insurance.  Please note, only services provided for a mental health diagnosis are able to be reimbursed by insurance companies. If diagnostic criteria is not met, client (and parent) will be informed and services will not be billed to insurance at which time, client will be responsible for payment. 

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counseling (Cigna and Aetna only)

As a benefit of employment, some companies provide Employee Assistance Program counseling that is free of charge for a pre-determined number of visits. Contact your employer's benefits coordinator for info and pre-authorization requirements.  45 mins

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing on-site

formal counseling to provide support immediately following a crisis or tragedy intended to prevent post traumatic stress or other negative symptoms. Group or individual. 60 mins

Session with Florida Registered Intern

Intakes, individual, family & couples sessions with a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. An important part of the counselor development process, interns who have a Masters degree in Counseling and are fulfilling FL requirements for licensure meet with a qualified, licensed supervisor for all sessions and client situations. Registered Interns can file claims to Aetna and Cigna under the supervisor.

As of 1/1/25, rate increases to $100

Session with Student Intern

Intake for counseling services, individual, family and couples sessions with a student intern. An important part of the counselor development process, student interns receive supervision, follow-up and feedback from a licensed site supervisor for all sessions and client situations. Students are not paneled by insurance companies.

Consultation

Calls to inquire about consultations for ADHD, co-parenting, reunification, suitability for couples counseling, brief therapy and other issues are based on availability. During scheduling calls, diagnosis is not assigned and insurance will not be billed. Consultations scheduled with providers will be charged prior to session whether in person or by telephone. $40 per 15 minutes

Documentation Completion

$40 per 15 minutes

FMLA certification, Short and Long Term disability documentation, consultation with non-medical providers and other paperwork requests  

Bringing Baby Home

Per the Gottman Institute, Bringing Baby Home workshops prepare couples for life with baby and helps them be the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents learn to strengthen their relationship and foster baby’s development during this challenging time. They build on what Dr. Gottman and colleagues found is the best predictor of marital adjustment after baby arrives: the quality of friendship in the marriage. The format can be intensive weekend or groups.

Rates for services provided vary by provider. Not all services are reimbursed by insurance.
